i'm smitten limited edition letterpress prints at LPP..

Boy

Hello! I hope you all had a lovely New Year's! I can honestly say mine was the best ever. Now it's time to hunker down and brave the winter months here on the East coast. Brrrr! Oh that and it's time to return to buying things for ourselves...right? Kelly form Little Paper Planes gave me a heads up on her January feature: I'm Smitten letter press prints. I love the silhouettes of the landscape and Sailboats in their laps.  You can buy one, or both as a set. Perfect way to spend that xmas/hanukkah cash that is burning a hole in your pocket.

Heidi Erika Anderson..

Collaborationtree

I have no idea how I came to find sister's Heidi and Erika Anderson's website. I am posting their images with out permission, hopefully they won't mind. I love their watercolors. After such a beautiful weekend, I thought bright and saturated watercolors were just what a Monday morning needed. A little bit about these gals:

"Heidi Britt Anderson and Erika Lynn Anderson are twin sisters andartists from Seattle WA born in 1976. They are fascinated with aparallel universe where humans are animals and their spiritsexplode into view in vivid color."

I'm into it for sure. If I get more info on these ladies, I'll let you know.

Kenn Goodall New Work..

Something

I don't think I can say it enough how much I love Kenn Goodall's work. His use of watercolor is so strong, he's not afraid of muddying it up, and yet it always looks good. Recently Kenn has had a small respite from doing commercial work and he's been focusing a lot on people. Living in London, he's got a bazillion faces to choose from. He sent me images of his latest work, some pages from his sketchbook and a cd cover he recently worked on. I was delighted to get a look at his latest work. Looking better than good. I am LOVING that skull.
